Alguns levam em suas roupas o símbolo de alguma academia em que praticam o esporte, o símbolo do Yin Yang ou algum desenho relacionado à cultura chinesa, como dragões e espadas, entretanto muitas vezes estas pessoas passam despercebidas por nossos olhos. Afinal, onde se escondem os praticantes de Kung Fu?
Eles não estão tão escondidos assim. Muitos praticantes gostam de se reunir com os amigos em bares, lanchonetes, restaurantes ou em casa para conversarem sobre artes marciais, trocarem experiências e adquirirem mais conhecimento sobre a arte, a cultura chinesa e outros assuntos relacionados à prática, além de se deliciarem com os pratos orientais. Também são facilmente vistos no bairro da Liberdade, em São Paulo, onde podem encontrar diversos artefatos e objetos típicos da China e próprios para o Kung Fu como facões, nunchacos, kimonos e bastões.
Além disso, muitos praticantes de Kung Fu aproveitam os finais de semana para reunirem-se com seus amigos e treinarem o que vêm aprendendo durante as aulas em academias. Estes são encontrados em parques abertos como o Ibirapuera e o Parque Villa Lobos, em São Paulo. Em ambos os locais, os praticantes divertem-se e praticam ao ar livre e podem ser vistos fazendo movimentos complicados com o corpo com uma grande facilidade. Eles encontram nesses ambientes a liberdade para a prática e também podem reunir amigos que não sejam praticantes da arte.
Apesar de quase não os vermos, os praticantes de Kung Fu estão mais presentes do que imaginamos. Podem ser vistos tanto nos locais relacionados à prática, como em locais comuns a muitas outras tribos como cinemas, teatros, restaurantes e shoppings. Basta prestar um pouco mais de atenção e você perceberá que eles estão por perto.
